Insurance just might be the one thing you buy that you hope you never have to use. Which is all the more reason to make sure you have the right cover at the right level.
You almost never need it, but it’s great to have when you do. Which is why most superannuation funds offer it. This can be beneficial as the premiums are often lower than similar retail policies, and you can normally get cover without filling in a bunch of boring forms.
Choose the cover that make the most sense for you, or transfer cover from your previous insurer, or opt out entirely. Unlike some other funds, we leave this choice entirely up to you.
Zuper currently offers three types of insurance:
We know it’s a grim subject, but at least with Death and Terminal Illness cover the people you care about most (your beneficiaries) will get paid if something bad happens to you.
We hope you never need this, but if you do get seriously ill or injured and are unlikely to ever be able to work again, this cover will pay you a benefit.
If you ever get so sick or have a disability that prevents you from working, this cover will pay you a monthly income to help with the bills, rent, etc.
Zuper insurance is provided by Hannover RE who have a Standard & Poor’s AA- “Very Strong” and A.M. Best A+ “Superior” ratings. This basically means they’re financially stable and reliable. We chose them for their great products, prices, and service.
